The first edition of this fair, which is dedicated to footwear, will take place in September 2003 in Shanghai. It will run at the same time as the ACLE and Moda Shanghai. This event, which is organised by the APLF and the CLIA, is a response to market demands. China's annual shoe production is estimated at 5.93 million pairs, representing more than half of world production. China is not only the biggest shoe producer but also the biggest exporter.
